Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Power drill
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Measuring tape
  • Stud finder
  • Pencil

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location above your range with proper ventilation and electrical access.
  2. Remove Old Unit: If replacing an existing microwave, carefully remove it and disconnect all wiring.
  3. Locate Wall Studs: Use a stud finder to locate and mark wall studs for secure mounting.
  4. Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the wall studs using provided hardware.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, 15A dedicated circuit outlet.
  6. Ventilation Setup: Choose between external venting or recirculating mode and install ductwork if needed.
  7. Mount Microwave: Lift the microwave onto the mounting plate and secure it according to instructions.
  8. Test Operation: Test all functions including microwave, vent fan, and lighting to ensure proper operation.
