Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location above your range with proper ventilation and electrical access.
- Remove Old Unit: If replacing an existing microwave, carefully remove it and disconnect all wiring.
- Locate Wall Studs: Use a stud finder to locate and mark wall studs for secure mounting.
- Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the wall studs using provided hardware.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, 15A dedicated circuit outlet.
- Ventilation Setup: Choose between external venting or recirculating mode and install ductwork if needed.
- Mount Microwave: Lift the microwave onto the mounting plate and secure it according to instructions.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including microwave, vent fan, and lighting to ensure proper operation.
