Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from heat sources, and with access to electrical outlet.
- Check Electrical Requirements: Ensure proper voltage (120V, 60Hz) and dedicated 15-20 amp circuit for built-in models.
- Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all protective films, shipping bolts, and packaging materials from the microwave.
- Countertop Installation: Place on flat, stable surface with minimum 3 inches clearance on top and sides for ventilation.
- Built-in Installation: Follow cabinet cutout specifications and secure mounting brackets according to model requirements.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to properly grounded outlet. For built-in models, hardwire according to local electrical codes.
- Ventilation Check: Ensure proper ventilation space and test exhaust fan operation for vented models.
- Test Operation: Run microwave for 2-3 minutes with a cup of water to verify proper operation and heating.
