4 Burner Gas Cooktop

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Gas leak detector solution
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe thread sealant
  • Level

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from combustible materials and with adequate clearance from overhead cabinets.
  2. Prepare Countertop: Cut countertop opening according to dimensions specified in the manual. Ensure proper support for the cooktop.
  3. Gas Connection: Connect to gas supply line using approved flexible gas connector. Apply pipe thread sealant to all connections.
  4. Check for Leaks: Use gas leak detector solution to test all connections for leaks. Bubbles indicate leaks that must be fixed.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz outlet for ignition system and controls.
  6. Secure Cooktop: Install mounting brackets and secure cooktop to countertop according to manufacturer instructions.
  7. Test Operation: Test all burners for proper ignition and flame characteristics before regular use.
